Reiki with Animals and Birds

The animals I have had the pleasure to work with, have appeared to respond so well to Reiki energy. There are many ways to approach sharing Reiki energy with animals and I always allow the animal to lead. It seems to me that, unlike us, animals have retained the ability to sense energy and that is what they respond to. I often find that once they understand what the energy is, if able, they will reposition their body to show you where they would like the healing energy to go. I have worked with a fair number of animals who have extreme anxiety and I’ve been thrilled at the positive results for them. Working with wild animals or farm animals can require healing energy being either ‘beamed’ into their space or carried out remotely or as distance healing depending on what suits them the best. I have had some good results with lambs after a distressing birth and with Ewes who had rejected their lambs. The possibilities are endless and I am just grateful that animals allow me into their space to share Reiki energy with them with the intent to help them towards healing.

The cost of Reiki healing session depends on the animal. As a guide, small animals and cats and dogs are £20 a session. Larger animals are £40 a session
